Leicester People’s Photographic Gallery, or LPPG, is a dedicated photo gallery based in Leicester’s old Central Library building. The original library shelves and fittings give the space a unique feel. It is operated as social enterprise by Ian Davies to give professionals, amateurs and groups from across Leicester an opportunity to exhibit work in this exceptional space.

There are two exhibition spaces- the Main Gallery and the Long Gallery.

In the Main Gallery, on the mezzanine level of the old library, photographs are displayed in the original library shelf spaces. Photographers can display work on a weekly basis or participate in group themed exhibitions.

The Long Gallery is a more flexible space, with wall hanging and floor space for other types of display. The Long Gallery can be hired whole, or in part, on a weekly or monthly basis.
